For one night only, the much-anticipated Super Ling will take over Iberia's kitchen to bring you an epic eight-course Chinese banquet.

British-born publican, Iain Ling, who reinvigorated Melbourne's Hotel Lincoln to win Time Out Melbourne's Pub of the Year 2017, teams up with chef Micheal Li (a.k.a Super Mike) (Movida/Lee Ho Fook) to bring us Super Ling!

Li and Ling share Hakka heritage, a culture originating on China's Central Plain and now found in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia, among others, which will inspire the menu - think umami-rich dumplings and braises.

This will be your chance to get an exclusive first-look at their signature dishes.

Wine and beer will be available for purchase on the night.

Unfortunately, as it is a special set menu, no specific dietary requirements can be accommodated.

South of the Ebro: An Iberian Wine Dinner

The first in a series of events celebrating the influential cuisine of Spain, Portugal and their neighbours; Iberia presents an evening of stories spread over 5 courses + 5 wines you'll be hard pressed to try anywhere else! 

Our host will be Scott Wasley; a raconteur and specialist Spanish and Portugese booze importer who knows his way around the Iberian wine region. Scott is returning to Adelaide to guide guests through a *one night only* five course dinner with carefully selected matched wines from his Iberian arsenal. 

Accompanying Scott's exclusive juices is a menu consisting of veg, meat and seafood from sustainable, local suppliers. Iberia's head chef Andrew Douglas fell in love with Spanish cuisine whilst in the employ of Frank Camorra (Movida, Melbourne). Andrew's style is focused on quality ingredients, good technique, served unfussed.

Locals may remember Scott from his days at Universal Wine Bar; a few doors down from where Iberia now stands. Scott threw in the brick and mortar towel to taste his way through his favourite region; the Iberian peninsula encompassing Spain and Portugal. 

Now trading as The Spanish Acquisition, Scott brings back the liveliest wines he finds on his travels, which he supplies to restaurants all over Australia, Iberia included. 

All wines are shipped in temperature-controlled containers at 13 degrees Celsius, meaning that the best wines of Spain+Portugal arrive in perfect condition, every time. Less than 5% of wine imported into Australia is afforded this respect!

Newly minted gold medalists at the San Francisco Spirit Awards for best new gin, Never Never Distilling Co. is teaming up with Iberia to hold a gin and food pairing showcase in celebration of World Gin Day.

Held in Iberia's underground gin lair, Sean Baxter from Never Never and Iberia’s own gin enthusiast, Jimmy R, will guide guests through five gin cocktails highlighting Never Never’s Triple Juniper gin. Iberia head chef, Rush Dougie, will curate the menu, matching each unique cocktail with his own brand of tapas. 

Tapas include:
~ A filthy martini on sourdough with jamon
~ A pear left too long on a walnut tree
~ Seafood paella
~ Chicken liver Choc-top
~ Coffee and biscuits

Vinteloper X Iberia Father's Day Long Lunch

Iberia is teaming up with local wine legends Vinteloper to present a Father's Day Feast!

Iberia will bring the flavour with five courses of Spanish-inspired, locally-sourced chow, with five matching wines from Vinteloper's smashing 2016 vintage, plus a couple from their brand new 2017 offering.

Complimentary aperitifs will be served in the bar from 12 midday with lunch kicking off in the dining room at 1pm.

Migrate to the bar from 3pm for the after party where all of our lunch guests can enjoy a complimentary cheese plate with any Vinteloper bottle purchase!
